Our first digital wellness advisor, tech updates for parents, and more

A warm summer welcome to all our new subscribers – we’re so excited to have you on our waiting list!☀️

A lot has been happening since our last update! We’ve been busy behind the scenes, attending more events, connecting with thought leaders, and gathering feedback on our prototype drafts.

Here’s what’s new:

🎉 Welcome to our first advisor: Julia Storm

Julia Storm is a Los Angeles-based Digital Wellness Educator and Screen Time Coach. She is a writer, teacher, public speaker and the founder of ReConnect, a whole child and whole family approach to supporting parents while preparing kids for life in the Digital Age.

Julia will advise us on our app’s approach, particularly in the areas of digital wellnessscreen time management, and how parents can communicate effectively with their kids about it. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to build a product that parents can trust!

👋 Meet us at Web Summit Lisbon 2025

We’re proud (and a little nervous, honestly) to share that Sadie has been selected to participate at Web Summit Lisbon‘s ALPHA program this November! We’ll be showcasing our prototype, which is being crafted with the real stories and experiences parents have shared with us at the heart of it. As the event approaches, we’ll share more details, like our booth number and the best times to visit – so if you’re attending, be sure to give us a shout.

  • Meta’s new Instagram Friend Map tool stirs privacy & safety concerns
It’s being pitched as a way to connect but it also means your movements are more visible than ever. This increase in visibility could come at a dangerous cost.
